PYRA Marine · In development
The data center goes to the energy.
Offshore data-center barges converting associated natural gas into power for high-density AI compute.
How it works
Gas → power → compute.
On one hull.
Instead of moving gas to shore, Pyra moves the load to the gas. Select each stage to see what happens on board.
Stage 01 / 04
Gas produced alongside oil at the host platform may otherwise be flared or lack an economic export route. A candidate supply is transferred to the moored barge by flexible riser; reinjection may be a valuable alternative at other sites.

One barge. Three systems.
A non-self-propelled, independently moored hull integrating gas conditioning, power generation and data halls. Select a zone to explore the concept.

AI data halls
Below-deck halls sized for high-density liquid-cooled racks, targeting ~15 MW of IT capacity. Customers bring their own servers.

Cooling architecture
Heat goes to the sea, through a separate loop.
Direct liquid cooling captures heat at the rack. A closed technical-water loop transfers it to seawater heat exchangers, keeping IT coolant isolated from seawater.

For AI compute tenants
Your servers. Our power, cooling and infrastructure.
Customers bring their own servers and run their own workloads. Pyra intends to provide reserved IT capacity, separately metered electricity, liquid cooling and site-specific connectivity. Pyra does not own the GPUs or operate a cloud service.
For offshore operators
A potential outlet for associated gas.
Where associated gas would otherwise be flared or lacks an economic export route, Pyra aims to evaluate an on-site offtake. Reinjection can have value and is not inherently waste. Any flaring reduction depends on site volumes and operations.

Investor thesis
Compute is power-constrained. Offshore gas is power-rich.
Power is the bottleneck
AI deployments increasingly wait on grid interconnection. Pyra's proposed model pairs compute capacity with its own fuel source.
Existing energy, new use
Associated gas is already produced. Converting it to electricity on site may add value where gas would otherwise be flared or lacks an economic export route.
Deployable infrastructure
A standardized hull is intended to be built in yard conditions and independently moored at a suitable host site.
Pyra is early-stage and pre-deployment. This concept has not been proven by Pyra at scale; engineering, classification, permitting, gas supply, connectivity, tenant demand and financing remain subject to review. No returns or operating performance are projected.
